I was a member of the All-Ohio State Fair Youth Choir in 1981 and my son Skylar is in his fourth year in the AOSFYC. I work as a broadcaster for Big Ten Network on Ohio State men’s and women’s soccer matches. I am running for a position on the Board of Trustees because I would like to bring my experience in sports media to aid in recruiting. I feel it is important to make more of Ohio’s choral music students and teachers aware of the All-Ohio State Fair Youth Choir and the opportunities it provides. I feel my skills would be very helpful in recruiting efforts, whether they be as in person visits to schools, live online meetings or in a created presentation. I believe it would be greatly beneficial to the AOSYFC if Dr. Peterson and the staff has a wider pool of talent to choose from. Thank you!

I have been on the board for more years than I can remember. I have held the offices of treasurer, vice president, and president.
I have worked with all three directors and many staff members. I want to be able to be a part of the “new” normal with next year’s choir.

I have been on the board since 2017 and have served as the Association's Treasurer since 2019. I am a four-year alum of the choir (2000-2003) and spent a year as a CIT (2004). I grew up in Bolivar (Tuscarawas County), and currently live a bit west of Akron and work as a consulting engineer. My time in the choir was a formative experience for me, and I'd like the chance to help continue the organization's impactful experience for other singers into the future. We have all made friends during our time in the choir who have remained close for years beyond our time at the fair; keeping the opportunity to form those friendships is key to this organization's future. I'd like to continue to serve with other members of the Board and other Alumni to keep the choir and the Alumni Association alive and energized. Thank you for trusting me to serve these past three years; I hope you will all continue to trust me to serve for three more years into the future.
