Holiday festival and tree lighting

All members of the All-Ohio State Fair Youth Choir from 2024, Alumni (1963-2023) and prospective 2025 applicants are invited to sing at the Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting at the Ohio Statehouse on Thursday, December 5, 2024.
We will be meeting to rehearse at 4:30 p.m. in The Statehouse and will sing numerous selections in the midst of the approximately 2,000 people that attend this event each year. Our performance will take place in the Statehouse Museum area. After singing, you, your family and friends are invited to remain and enjoy the festivities. No meal is provided, but refreshments are provided by our hosts. Do your best to arrive by 4:30, but we don’t want you to miss out on the music making experience due to work or travel time. What to wear
Solid white, long-sleeved shirt, tucked in

Solid black pants/slacks/skirt
Black shoes/socks (or nude/black nylons)
Black belt (for pants with belt loops)
Optional red accessory (scarf, tie, etc.)

A black folder with music printed by you at home if you chose to pre-print.
Music folders and music will be provided by the AOSFYC for everyone that pre-registers.

PARKING
Parking is free for everyone that parks in the Statehouse Garage.
The parking vouchers will be distributed after the performance is concluded.
We are unable to financially reimburse anyone for parking who chooses to park in other lots outside of the Statehouse.
