Without a doubt the past year has brought significant challenges to our state and, indeed, the world. In 2020, we had a #VirtuallyAmazing experience online with the All-Ohio State Fair Band and the All-Ohio State Fair Youth Choir. Though continued public health realities in 2021 haven't allowed for us to offer our traditional 18-day AOSFYC experience as a part of the Ohio State Fair in Columbus, we invite all AOSFYC alumni as well as high school youth (both new and returning members) to join us on Saturday, July 31, 2021 for a day of music-making and fun that will culminate in a festival concert with our friends in the All-Ohio State Fair Band.
This event is being offered entirely free of charge for all eligible participants and is being run through the generous efforts of our inspiring team of volunteers!
Venue: Eastview United Methodist Church | 1045 Ross Road | Columbus, Ohio 43227 | Click here for a map
Weather: Celebrate 2021 will occur rain or shine, as we have ample rehearsal space. A plan is in place should we need to perform inside.
Music: Music will be distributed when you arrive and will be collected at the end of the performance. We will prepare and perform pieces from a small repertoire of favorite AOSFYC pieces, including Battle Hymn of the Republic. We will not be memorizing music for this event.
Attire: Please wear khaki shorts, slacks or skirt along with one of the following shirt options: any official AOSFYC uniform shirt from any era, a blue AOSFYC alumni shirt, any shirt purchased from our store, or any solid-colored (red, white or blue in color; no words or other logos) collared shirt. No specific footwear is required.
Scroll down to complete the registration form in advance.
(Advanced registration is required so that we can work to ensure a safe and fun environment for all participants.)

Current covid-19 guidelines
Current as of: July 5, 2021
While the State of Ohio mandate for masking has been lifted, we ask that those who have not been fully vaccinated wear a mask at all times while indoors. There will be an ample supply of hand sanitizer on site. We will do our best to offer options to socially distance while rehearsing and performing. Additional protocols may be needed should the status of the pandemic shift here in Ohio. Those changes will be shared via the web site and through email correspondence.
By signing below, you agree to abide by the current COVID-19 safety guidelines for the event. Any changes (which will be likely) will be shared by email the week of the event and will posted on site.
