​LeeLynn Wood (AOSFYC 2017) just completed her enlistment in the United States Army where she was an Optical Laboratory Specialist. She made prescription eyeglasses for all branches of the military. She completed Basic Training in Fort Sill Oklahoma and the Advanced Individual Training and first duty station at Naval Weapons Station in Yorktown Virginia. She took a lot of lessons from the choir to the Army, but the biggest one was teamwork, working together as a section then into the full choir to make a beautiful piece. She plans on going to college to finish her degree in Optometry and minor in something music or drama related. She misses the choir and the Army so much and can’t wait to see what the choir has in store this year and years to follow.

​Pictured: Little Miami Tour Chorale Women

Members of the Little Miami Tour Chorale and Tour Chorale Women are traveling to Hungary and Croatia to participate in the Laurea Mundi Budapest Chorale Competition.  These groups are made up of current students and alumna of the Little Miami High School in Warren County and directed by former AOSFYC staff member Sarah J Baker. The groups will be traveling from June 30th to July 10th, which gives any members of the 2020 AOSFYC about a week or so to prepare for the fair :-).
