LeeLynn Wood (AOSFYC 2017) just completed her enlistment in the United States Army where she was an Optical Laboratory Specialist. She made prescription eyeglasses for all branches of the military. She completed Basic Training in Fort Sill Oklahoma and the Advanced Individual Training and first duty station at Naval Weapons Station in Yorktown Virginia. She took a lot of lessons from the choir to the Army, but the biggest one was teamwork, working together as a section then into the full choir to make a beautiful piece. She plans on going to college to finish her degree in Optometry and minor in something music or drama related. She misses the choir and the Army so much and can’t wait to see what the choir has in store this year and years to follow.
Thank you to LeeLynn, and all our Veterans, for their Service!
